Obituary notes for Donald Eugene Wegscheid
Donald “Don” Wegscheid, 54, died at his home in Princeton Aug. 23, 2005.
He was born Dec. 12, 1950, to Eugene and Kathryn (Beringer) Wegscheid in Perham. He graduated from New York Mills High School in 1968. He joined the Marine Corp in 1970 and was deployed to Vietnam. He was on active duty until 1974. He married Nora Anderson, June 17, 1972, in Bluffton. They lived in many places. including Wadena and the states of California and Arizona, until moving to Princeton in 1983. He was a professional truck driver until he retired and began employment at the U.S. Post Office, St. Paul, as a driving instructor. Survivors include his wife; daughters Tabitha Gruszka and Tinelle Linden; three brothers, four sisters and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral was Aug. 27, at Wyanett Evangelical Free Church, Princeton. Pallbearers were Darren Anderson, Brad Wegscheid, Jeremy Anderson, Duane Price, Scott Anderson and Shawn Richards. Burial was at Wyanett Parish Cemetery.
