Lexi Rounds, 18, of Creston, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from injuries due to a car accident on a bridge east of Creston.
Celebration of Life Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 14, 2020 at the Powers Funeral Home in Creston. Nathan Langford will officiate. Masks and social distancing are required. The Service will be Live Streamed on the Powers Funeral Home Facebook Page.
Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Creston.
Military Rites will be by the National Guard.
Open visitation will be 12-6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2020, with no family time set.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to+ be established in her name.

Alexis LeAnne Rounds was born December 12, 2001 in Creston to Jeremy Glenn Rounds and Angie Jane (Wegscheid) Rounds. She attended Mayflower Christian School in Creston and graduated from Creston High School in 2020.
While in school she played soccer and served with the Appalachian Service Project for 2 summers, Lexi worked as a waitress at Creston Family Restaurant. Lexi completed basic training with the Army in the Summer of 2019 and Advanced Individual Training in the Summer of 2020. She was currently in the Army National Guard Reserves. Lexi was baptized into Christ during Nationwide Youth Roundup on July 28, 2015 by her parents.
Survivors include her father Jeremy Rounds of Creston, her mother Angie Rounds (Natasha Van Brunt) of Creston, two brothers, Mark and Ethan Rounds and sister Hannah Rounds, all of Creston; grandparents, Harvey (Carla) Wegscheid of Browerville, Minn., Jody McClemens of Maryville, Mo., Dave Sias of Centerville, Ia.; Robert (Delma) Rounds of Harlan, Ia.; Aunts and Uncles: Marcus (Jeana) Rounds of Portland, Ore., Sarah (Brian) Hughes of Omaha, Neb., Lynzie (Josh) Poley of Hammonton, N.J., Keith (Josh Mitchell) Roberts of Detroit Lake, Minn; Randy (Mary) Roberts of Sebeka, Minn. and Melanie (Roy) Sumoket of St. Cloud, Minn. and many cousins and extended family members.
Lexi was preceded in death by her grandparents, Debra (Kramer) Rounds, Ron McClemons and Tom Anderson and two uncles Tony Wegscheid in infancy and Eric Roberts.
