Loretta Margaret Theisen passed away on Monday, March 7th at the Elders Home in New York Mills surrounded by her loving family. Loretta was born to her parents Joseph & Margaret (Peters) Wegscheid on August 24, 1928 in Bluffton. She was united in marriage to Arnold Nicholas Theisen on October 11, 1954 in the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Wadena.  Together they made their home in rural Wadena. Loretta worked for a time at Peterson-Biddick, Homecrest and at the Kountry Kids Day Care. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crossword puzzles, walking in the woods and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; sister Lorraine Tellers; brothers Norman, Wilbur and John; sister in law Dorothy Wegscheid and brother in law Wilbert Tellers. She is survived by her husband Arnold; sons Ken of Bluffton, Bob (Teresa) of New York Mills & Dennis (Judy) of Wadena; daughters Vicki (Dave) Chesney of Hancock, MI, Sue of Wadena, Bonnie (Ron) Price of Verndale, Mary (Tom) Patron of New York Mills, Anita (Mike) Hietpas of Kaukauna, WI & Annette (Dan) Siegel of Kaukauna, WI; 25 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Gloriann Waln of Wadena & Jeanie Brever of Alexandria; brothers Elmer  Wegscheid of Wadena & Gibb Wegscheid of New York Mills; and sister-in-law MaryLou Wegscheid of Wadena. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, March 12th at 11:00 AM in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bluffton with Fr. Don Wagner as celebrant.  Honorary pallbearers  will be the grand daughters & great-grandchildren.  Active pallbearers will be her grandsons.  Burial will take place in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Bluffton.
