He was born the son of Ambrose and Hildegard Beringer in Wadena July 13, 1950.
He attended St. John's school at Bluffton and Wadena public schools.
He worked as a machine operator for Champion Packaging in Minneapolis. He Was married to LaVae Davis in August 1970 at Watertown, S.D.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of, Bluffton and the St. John's Society.
Left to mourn his passing are his parents of Bluffton; a daughter Jessica Beringer 3 1/2 years; brothers and sister, Mrs. Donald (Barbara) Wallace, Detroit Lakes; Mrs. Jerome (Mary) Peterson, Fridley; Mrs. John Altstedt (Rosie) of Perham; Mrs. Harvey (Alice) Kemper, Hutchinson, Anthony, Ray, Minn.; John, Deer Creek; Francis of Columbia Heights; and a host of friends.
